Haftseen table is a traditional table setting used during the Iranian New Year, Nowruz.
It includes seven items, all starting with the Persian letter "sin," symbolizing good fortune and the seven creations of life.
The items typically include Sabzeh (wheat or lentil sprouts), Samanu (sweet pudding), Senjed (dried oleaster fruit), Seer (garlic), Seeb (apple), Somagh (sumac), and Serkeh (vinegar). Other symbolic items may also be added to the table.
